The focus will be primarily on Employee Life Cycle Management, Payroll Administration including the Compensation and Benefits processes and ensure the compliance of EHS regulations.

Junior HR Generalist

reporting to the HR Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage monthly payroll administration (prepare monthly payroll data sheet, holiday report, operation Cafeteria system, - keep records up-to-date, collect employment statements, - tax related forms, - extra holidays, - sickness certifications)

  • Organize and maintain Employee Relations and Employment Administration (personnel records and files, tracking changes in the system, prepare joining and leaving documents, - employment contracts, JDs, update HR documentation)

  • Ensure data privacy and compliance with the Hungarian and EU (GPDR) legislation

  • Coordinate the company’s environmental, health and safety regulations (annual labor and fire safety training, annual mandatory medical and eye check, complete EHS documentation and annual audit report)

  • Support recruitment and onboarding process (CV screening, job postings, interview scheduling for hiring managers, and organize new employees’ orientation program)

  • Maintain HR database and HR files, create ad-hoc HR reports

  • Prepare employer certificates, data reporting to Central Statistical Office

  • Organize company events

  • Management of the office related matters (overseeing general office operation, purchasing office supplies and equipment and maintaining proper stock levels, office operations invoice verification)

We would love to hear from YOU, if you have:

  • University or College Degree (Economics, HR preferred)

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR and Hungarian payroll preparation

  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices

  • Proficient knowledge of English, daily usage of it within business environment

  • Computer proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
