Transcend is currently looking to fill a HR Manager position based in our Budapest office.

Your role:

  • Work closely with CEO and VP of HR to lay the foundation for an open and collaborative culture at Transcend.  Focus will be primarily on onboarding, employee engagement, incentive programs, and internal communication. 

  • Recruitment and Onboarding

    • As we rapidly growing this will be 50%+ of the role.  We expect to hire an HR generalist focused on recruiting during Q4 2020, and this person would report to the HR Director.  

    • Manage the whole selection process, drafting the job posting, communication of the opportunity to candidates, web postings, LinkedIn and Facebook promotion, agency management, recruitment administration, budget, etc.

    • Design onboarding programs in close copperation with senior management

    • Prepare employment documentation, conduct onboarding / HR orientation with new employees, etc.

 

  • Payroll and HR administration

    • Manage payroll administration including Compensation and Benefit processes

    • Liaise with the payroll vendor company

    • Organize and maintain personnel records, update internal database and prepare HR documentation

    • Update company policies and procedures as required by the labor code and management

    • Maintain and update the company’s Sharepoint site w/ relevant HR info

  • Training and development

    • Survey the team for training needs and develop, maintain, and update the annual training plan

    • Assist in organizing in-house and external trainings based on annual training plan

    • Manage and liaise with external training service providers/vendors

    • Ensure compliance with all applicable law such as OHS and fire safety training

  • Performance Management

    • Implement and maintain the company’s performance management system

    • Coordinate, organize and track the trial period review meetings and goal setting

  • Develop and maintain employee engagement programs to maximize retention

  • Work closely with the labor lawyer on legal matters

  • Actively participate in ad-hoc HR & Admin projects across the organization

Your profile:

  • University or College Degree

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in HR and Hungarian payroll preparation is required

  • Experience working for software engineering company is preferred

  • Computer proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Proficient knowledge of English, daily usage of it within business environment

  • Excellent attention to detail, precision, good organizational skills

  • Ability to work without supervision

  • Team player, flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks

  • Creative, innovative, and enthusiastic

  • Confidence, high level of energy and passionate about HR
