Transcend is looking for an experienced Director of Business Development – Technology OEMs to join our team. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining excellent business relationships that maximize overall company revenues. In this role, you will need to effectively manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment.

How success will be measured:

  • Number of net new customers signed focus on technology OEMs in the water and power sectors

  • How you plan and execute a comprehensive sales strategy

  • How well you manage new and existing opportunities

  • Your ability to direct customer support to exceed expectations of the client

  • Your ability to collaborate with internal teams to generate demand for our software

  • Number of qualified leads sourced

  • Accurate deal forecasting

  • Ability to collaborate with Transcend leadership

  • Seamless handover to after-sales team project managers

  • Key account management


We would love to hear from YOU, if you have:

  • A track record of success selling technical or enterprise software applications

  • 7+ years B2B sales experience

  • 3+ years of experience selling technologies and/or engineered equipment used in water, wastewater treatment, or the power sector

  • Previous success with complex sales involving 2-4 decisions makers and sales cycles of 3+ months

  • Experience delivering accurate sales forecasts at timescales of 1, 3, and 6 months

  • Experience with or similar CRM software

  • Experience working closely with marketing teams to drive demand

  • Experience in utilizing social media and online communication/sales technologies
